Scuba Diving
Dive The Farne Islands and Northumberland Coast aboard Sovereign Diving. You can dive the wrecks, beautiful cliff faces or play with the grey seals. An experience not to forget. Walking and Cycling
There are many coastal and beach walks which provide fantastic views along this beautiful coastline of Northumberland. The beaches hold the green flag award with there golden sands. Cycling is particularly enjoyable along the country lanes which are now known for the coast to coast route.
Golf Courses
Golf enthusiasts will be delighted with the choice of nine prime golf courses all with outstanding views, seven of which are situated by the sea and are therefore not normally weather bound in winter. Seahouses and Embleton to name but a few.
Bird Watching
Bird watching is extremely popular around area, especially at the farne islands where you can see puffins, common terns, arctic terns, shags, razorbill's, eider ducks, roseate terns and gilliemots. This is to name but a few as there is so many birds through the breeding season. The best time for the birds are between May and July.
